| MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT MISSION
STATEMENT |
The Department of Mathematics has a mission to provide all students with an understanding of the logical structure and style of mathematics appropriate to their discipline and level. The program will help students develop quantitative and abstract reasoning, the ability to use mathematics as a computational and analytical tool, and the skills for the AP tests.
Our goal is to teach students the basic concepts and skills of mathematics, and to provide a mathematical background for all students that are appropriate for the AP mathematics test and future undergraduate study in America.
Our core courses include Algebra & Trigonometry, Pre-calculus & Calculus, Advanced Placement Calculus AB, Advanced Placement Calculus BC, Statistics, AP Statistics, and Discrete Math.
