HUMANITIES RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM FOR YOUTH,

Brisbane, Australia, June 23-30 The HRSY's mission is to give secondary school students a better understanding of humanities and social sciences. The symposium is held in different cities each year. GLP students have taken part in several over the years and this year will be heading down under to participate in Brisbane, Australia.

NORMANDY INTERNATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

Students participate in a home stay with students at the St. Joseph's Institution, examine issues of global significance alongside their peers from around the world, and visit sites of cultural and historical significance in Normandy, France.

ZIYLS (Zhengzhou International Young Leaders Summit

ZIYLS in Zhengzhou, China is an educational and cultural event hosted by Zhengzhou No.2 High School for a 10-day summit. Students do presentations and make action plans on a variety of topics, present their home culture visit a Shaolin Temple 少林寺, climb the Great Wall, and learned Tai Chi.
